Skywings takes delivery of first two Diamond Da40 NG aircraft for pilot training

Antwerp, September 6, 2024 – Skywings Flight Training is pleased to announce the arrival of the first two out of four newly ordered Diamond Da40 NG aircraft. These state-of-the-art, fuel-efficient planes were flown today from the Diamond Factory in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, to Kortrijk, Belgium, where the registration process will be completed.

The Diamond Da40 NG is an efficient aircraft equipped with cutting-edge technology. These planes will be used to train future airline pilots at our bases in Antwerp and Alicante, Spain. They feature all the necessary technological tools to perform modern approach and instrument flights, ensuring that our students receive top-tier practical experience.

After registration, the aircraft will be immediately deployed in practical training for both basic flight training and instrument flying, supporting the high-quality standards of our training programs.
