Skywings Flight Training is proud to announce the addition of a Robin R2160, registered OO-SKG, to our fleet. This versatile aircraft will be used specifically for advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), a critical part of both the Integrated ATPL and Brussels Airlines MPL training programs.

UPRT is designed to teach student pilots how to manage unexpected situations in flight, helping them overcome the effects of startle and surprise. By practicing recovery maneuvers in the Robin R2160, students will learn how to safely regain control of an aircraft experiencing upset and bring it back to a safe attitude.

This training is a fundamental component in modern airline pilot education, ensuring that pilots are well-equipped to handle extreme flight situations in a real-world scenario. With the inclusion of the OO-SKG, Skywings continues to provide its students with the highest standard of training, reinforcing their ability to operate safely and confidently in the skies.

By the end of this year, Skywings will operate a fleet of nine aircraft. This includes five Diamond DA40 NGs, with the final two being delivered from the Diamond factory by the end of November, two Diamond DA40 TDIs, one Diamond DA42, and the new Robin R2160. This fleet expansion ensures that Skywings can offer even more comprehensive training opportunities for its students.
