Skywings Flight Training, based at Antwerp Airport, has reaffirmed its commitment to training the next generation of airline pilots with the purchase of four brand-new Diamond DA40NG training aircraft. These fuel-efficient aircraft, will play a crucial role in training young, passionate individuals aspiring to pursue a career in aviation.

This investment in modern, efficient aircraft allows Skywings to provide its students with the latest technology and a more sustainable flying experience. The Diamond DA40NG is not only economical but also offers advanced avionics, preparing students for the modern cockpit environments they will encounter in their future careers.

Skywings has also recently acquired a new Diamond DA40/42 simulator, made by Diamond aircraft, further enhancing its equipment to offer students the best possible training. These investments highlight Skywings’ dedication to quality and technological advance.

Furthermore, Skywings is committed to a greener future for aviation. As part of its sustainability initiatives, the school aims to have all its facilities running entirely on renewable energy by 2025, with the installation of solar panels and battery systems. Additionally, Skywings is exploring opportunities to train the first group of students completely emissions-free as airline pilots by the end of this decade.
