Sustainable, fair trade and Belgian: new uniforms for Skywings students
Skywings is giving its students a new look. In collaboration with Belgian tailor and private pilot Chaïma El Aabedy, a new, contemporary uniform has been designed for students to wear during their training. Students at Skywings are immersed in the world of civil aviation from their first day of training, and a uniform is part of that.
“Wearing a uniform contributes to the discipline we expect from our students. In addition, it strengthens the sense of group among them. We deliberately chose durable, comfortable fabrics in a modern look in the design together with the tailor, which conveys our school’s house style. Our students are choosing a career where wearing a uniform is part of the daily routine, so we better start early. We are also proud to be able to collaborate with a Belgian tailor with a heart for aviation. The students themselves are already fans of their new outfit!”, says Flight Operations Manager Sarah-Bess Uytterhaeghe.
